Hotel Casa Palo Verde

Clean, secure, and spacious describes this gem of a hotel find. We had the upstairs suite overlooking the pool courtyard and couldn’t have been happier. King sized bed, full kitchen facilities with refrigerator and microwave, filtered water dispenser, fast flowing hot water, and toilet that takes paper. Reasonably priced, too. The restaurant across the street is superb. There is an Oxxo convenience store a half bock from the hotel. The neighborhood is safe. Parking is secure and under cover inside the gated courtyard. Most of all, the concierge service was outstanding. Jose speaks excellent English and even booked me a dental appointment with his own English speaking dentist.

Hotel Casa Palo Verde is the perfect place for those looking to get away from the more touristy areas and hotels. It is a simple, local hotel but the staff are amazing and the location is great as well. You are a short 10-15 minute walk to the marina if you want to visit the restaurants there, but there are also a ton of great spots within a 5-10 minute walk, including the restaurant across the street which is a hidden gem. The rooms are not anything fancy like what you'll find at the resorts, but you'll get AC, a small TV, and a kitchenette in case you want to cook anything. Recommended for those looking for a local hotel vibe rather than a tourist filled resort.

Minimalistic but very functional and clean. Pool is freezing (but we knew it is not heated). Beautiful lobby. Everything you need in the kitchen (stove top, microwave, fridge, coffee maker WITH coffee provided!) Pots, pans, utensils. Very helpful staff. Fairly close to the marina, bit of a walk to the beach. Lots of great local places to eat nearby..

Hotel Casa Palo Verde was a fantastic stay! Jose greeted us in the lobby, walked us to our room, and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, kept cool upon our arrival and air conditioning was not an issue throughout our stay, and all the room amenities were in place. To our surprise the hotel had a pool and other common area that was just quaint to cool-off and relax while sipping a cool beverage. The main entrance was secure from the outside along with our room from within the hotel. In addition, the parking was inside the hotel, covered, and totally secured. Casa Palo Verde also has a restaurant across the street which is convenient, perfect for coffee, ice coffee, and food to get the morning off and running or afternoon and evening snack. Paul made us a great cup of coffee from the restaurant, was good conversation, and provided good suggestions to plan our stay in Cabo which was helpful. We took the bus from the airport which takes you just up the corner from the hotel, however, you will need to catch the bus from main bus stop across from Walmart. Avis’s car rental was helpful located across from the mall and harbor all of which is just a ten-minute walk from Casa Palo Verde. Thank you, Raul, Jose, Paul, and entire staff for your hospitality. My friends and I had a lovely time staying here. The staff is amazing. The location is perfect for people who want a little distance from the more touristy areas of the city but still easy to walk to most things. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was also really nice to have the small pool in the courtyard area as it provided a comfortable space to relax and hang out in between activities and also allowed for us to chat with some of the other people staying there.

This hotel is an incredible value for the price and location. Approximately 15 minutes walking distance from the main road, it is close enough without being in the chaos of downtown. The hotel is clean and quaint, the staff is always available at the front desk for any questions or concerns. Definitely a high recommendation if you're planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas.

I loved this hotel. The only terrible thing was the 5 hour live music pounding through the walls on Saturday night between 1040p-330a. Otherwise, it's comfortable. The staff is nice. The aesthetic is cool. The keyless rooms are great. It's walkable to most things. I like that it's away from the tourist area.

A really nice place with very helpful, friendly staff - I'll definitely stay again. The suites have heaps of space and the communal area is very pleasant. The coffee machine, with coffee provided, was greatly appreciated! It's a 20 minute walk to downtown - convenient but also far enough to be away from the hustle. The staff are a particular plus point, especially for those of us whose Spanish is limited, as they speak very good English.
